Just as a note, I'm totally fine with people knowing Twilight in their universes! Just look at the other guy I play, Sam Winchester. He is nothing but meta madness in his own canon. Anyway. Totally can do that, he hates the sparkling crap. Also, I'm fine with people figuring out his a vampire as long as it's not just deus ex intuition! He has blood-red eyes, relatively pale/perfect skin, he's icy to the touch, and he has no blood in his body (just a weird-ass venom coursing through hard, marble flesh gross). Also, no heartbeat. Etc. Google 'twilight vampires' if you need anymore than that, it's a wikipedia nightmare.

Shockingly, he mostly looks like a pretty normal dude who just really loves gothic rockstar apparel.

This is just a quick permissions/observations sort of thing! Wanted to cover all my bases, just in case.

SUPER DUPER KEWL TWILIGHT SPARKLY QUESTIONNAIRE:

1.) Is your character not human or is drastically different in some way physically compared to other humans? Can you tell in some way that enhanced senses can pick up? Garrett has incredible vision (like, seeing ya goddamn pores), incredible hearing (he can hear blood in veins, ya feel me), and incredible smell (it's gross, stay bathed pls). Let me know if it's okay for him to tell or not, I can bullshit something or we can play it careful with interactions!

2.) What would he smell off you that comes from your character's environmental landscape or hobbies/traits? I.E. if they garden often they smell of earth, or if they're terminally ill they may have the stench of illness, whatever you may think is noticeable. Is it okay for Garrett to note these things?

3.) Anything else to note that may be of interest to Garrett's sharpened senses that you'd be okay with him noting/talking to your character about? 

4.) ... Does your character have an English accent? This is clearly very important for science.

5.) Does he dazzle you?

1.) Belth is pretty obviously an elf because of the ridiculous bunny ears and GLOWING EYES. He's got standard biology, but he also has magic permeating through his whole body. Arcane magic is somewhere between raw mana and lightning, so it might smell like ozone.

2.) In addition to what I mentioned above, he also smells like sweets (from baking) or whatever delicious thing he's cooked recently, old books, and very faintly of demon/fel magic. Fel smells awful though it's hard to tell what it actually smells like since it doesn't... exist, so feel free to make shit up. I say faintly because he doesn't practice fel magic and he doesn't hang around people who do, but he's tainted anyway (that's what makes his eyes glow green). It'll take a couple hundred years to wear off.

3.) He hangs out with Eithan, another vampire, and actually has an Arrangement, so uh... Garrett might be able to notice little cuts on his hands where he's been feeding.

4.) Nah, just one of those standard pretentious high fantasy dictions.

5.) Belth can sense magic since he feeds on it like a vampire, but if there's no like actual magic involved then he doesn't really care.

DEZEL
1.) I'll default to whatever Akai puts for Mikleo on this one, but I'll take a stab at it for now. Dezel is a wind seraph, or a kind of elemental spirit. Seraphim don't need to eat or even breathe, so the best I can give you is 'made out of energy that sort of vaguely resembles a human'? They bleed, and Dezel is actually blind from a wound he suffered to the eyes, so there's some precedence for being passably human. Those without superhuman senses or natural spiritual sensitivity can't see or hear seraphim. That said, vampires ought to at least be able to hear him since animals have no issues interacting with/seeing him.

2.) Dezel smells like leather (he wears a lot of it) and animals, but he doesn't stink exactly. He likes dogs though, and he cooks a LOT of sweets and bar food, so he probably smells like that too. I usually throw down 'feathers' too, or a summer wind. Wind has a smell, sometimes.

3.) idk

4.) Nope.

5.) Dezel can't see him sparkling.

KANDA
1.) Kanda is human... ish. He has a holy weapon that lives in his blood so if his katana disappears, he can just summon it through that again. Also, his body is on a time limit-- he's got a few years left maybe if he just went home and knitted socks, but of course he's not going to do that. He's died and been revived so many times that, though ridiculously powerful, his life force is beginning to wane. His healing factor is much slower than it used to be as a result.

2.) Kanda gardens in his spare time and occasionally tries his hand at cooking Japanese food. He's vain as hell, so he showers a lot. He's a heathen who washes his hair with soap.

3.) Kanda tries very hard not to let on that he hallucinates lotus flowers damn near constantly, but if there's like a little twitch or his eyes fall on something that's obviously not there, Garrett is free to notice. It's part of having a brain transplant.

4.) I'm not actually sure about this one. The canon is in Japanese but the characters speak English and the Black Order base is in London???? But Kanda was hatched in a Chinese lab... but he has memories from being a (probably) British exorcist.

I'll go with Definitely Not American.

1) Gemini's not at all human, although to the eye Garett wouldn't be able to tell that. If she knows he has incredible hearing she might go to the trouble of creating the sound of rushing blood and faking a heartbeat, but most of the time she just can't be bothered. So that's a clear clue, but the most obvious thing would be that she smells like rubber, not strongly, but it's there, and she really doesn't smell of anything else human.

2) Most of the time perfume and soap/shampoo which she wears to cover the rubber scent, but he might be able to pick up on grease from the air ducts she regularly slithers through, or possibly some blood from best not to ask where.

3) She's usually pristine in her own form to a degree that's not humanly possible. Why be a shapeshifter and not make yourself look perfect? Otherwise her clothes are a part of her, so no fabricy smells either >.>

4) She has an American accent, but can mimic virtually any other perfectly once she's heard enough of it. Also she speaks fluent French.

5) Yessss (mun is squeeing)...but she's likely to snap out of it quickly.

1.) Allen is human...ish. His left arm is made up a holy weapon, so there's no actual blood that goes through there, and there's probably bits of Innocence throughout his body (since it tends to heal fatal wounds). He's also a Noah, but I don't think that's visible beyond something being off about his blood. Basically he'll just seem hella unappetizing - the anti-bella, if you will.

2.) Food, money and probably chemicals from the labs.

3.) Maybe? He can sense things with demonic/dark energy, but I have no idea if that applies to Twilight since it's been awhile since I've read any of the books. Let me know what you think.

4.) Yes, but before you get too excited, he grew up in traveling circuses so it probably sounds more like this when he gets worked up. The rest of the time he sounds easier to understand, but definitely like from the countryside.

5.) Not unless that sparkly skin's worth some money bruh.

SORA NINIJI (AU)
1.) Sora's an Enlighten, which is the Pokemon-world equivalent to an X-men mutant. He's mostly human, but he's freakishly light due to his bones being hollow and there's probably some other physical differences with his organs to help make him lighter. Not sure how that'd affect his blood.

2.) A Disney princess level of animals.

3.) Sora can and regularly talk to animals. Also if he gets worked up about something, his powers get set off and that can make things around him go wonky.

4.) Nope.

5.) Sora's a disney character, so only if Garrett sings a disney-esque song with the intent to cause dazzle and awe (remixing Simple and Clean for the 23432th time will work too).

1. Lmao SHE A FOX. So... she smells musky. And since she has a violet gland on her tail if she gets startled that gland lets out an even muskier smell. With Garrett's senses it will be very obvious in general. Sorry bro, at least it isn't werewolf stank?
2. Raw meat and blood, since she eats that whenever she gets the chance. Or nature when the ships have stopped somewhere nature-y.
3. He's free to notice any other foxy things about her. Also she mind controls people via her voice and she tries not to talk enough for that to kick in (it does so automatically if she talks for long enough), so he's free to notice something off about her voice.

1) Stefan is a TVD vampire. I forget if Twilight vampires can identify each other, but TVD vampires can't - Stefan has a true face that pops up when he's feeding on blood and he's got the usual enhanced senses. His blood is magical; he can probably feel that supernatural energy if he gets close enough.

2) he smells like black tea leaves (usually Ceylon or Earl Grey!) and like his soap / hair gel. The scent of tea and freshly baked sweets usually wins out. Also, if he's just fed: the scent of blood will linger.

3) not off the top of my head? Stefan's a fellow vampire who wears a daylight ring to protect him from the sun and alas, he doesn't sparkle.

4) Nope - he's an American with a tea addiction. His pronounciation of Arabic is on point, however, and he can fake that accent in English if need be.

Twilight vampires can identify each other! Though that's probably because they have specific vampire smells (the venom gives them a pleasant smell bahaha). I imagine he could probably smell the faint whiff of blood on Stefan's mouth, or feel that weird magical energy because why the fuck not. But mostly that blood-breath. B^)

1) He's elfin! A mix of sidhe and unsidhe with a tiny dose of dragon. The elfin part is pretty obvious: he's got pointy ears, purple eyes, fangs, and a more delicate facial structure.
2) This kind of also fits into the above, but he smells like cinnamon and oranges. Which is just his natural body odor. It's something that's noticeable to humans if they're close (like making out distance) but definitely could be picked up from further away by Garrett. He smokes clove cigarettes sometimes and maybe someday he'll find a real gun instead of stupid space ones, so he can smell like gunpowder, but for now his gun has been confiscated.
3) If there are magic senses, then Kai feels unnatural/wrong because of being both sidhe and unsidhe, but I don't think that shows up in a physical sense.
4) No. His accent is mostly Irish.
5) Not really.

I GOTCHA DOWN! Garrett's natural odor is weirdly pleasing too, we can be nice smell buddies.

He doesn't really have much of a magic sense. Sparklepires have a sixth sense for dangerous situations/people, so he may feel a bit uneasy perhaps around him? But it'll probably fade quickly enough so long as Kai isn't an active thread at him.

1) 100% human.
2) She plays with her pet fox a lot, so he can smell that? She's generally very careful about hygiene though so she's going to usually smell clean. Also, like some kind of shampoo, because girl has a ton of hair to keep clean.
3) She (very slightly) favors her right leg and arm, because her left has bullet scars through the knee and elbow. Those are covered up by her gloves/sleeves and boots, generally.
4) I wrote down her accent once but i can't find it. I think I said she had a tendency to emphasize long vowel sounds? We can pretend she's being translated to have an American accent, i dunno.

Aria:

1) Mixed-blood, which means she looks human, except: She has fox ears, a big bushy tail, her eyes have slit pupils, her fingernails have claws that have been filed down, and her teeth are incredibly sharp. She's also buff as hell, but that's not related.
2) Fun trivia! In her culture, it is generally believed that someone's scent matches their morality. Good people smell good, and bad people smell bad. So she is incredibly careful with that, and tends to use rose-scented soap and stuff. So yeah, she'll generally smell like roses or other kinds of flowers more than anything else.
3) She's got a scar chart on her journal, but she is incredibly fucked up. She's a swordswoman and tends to carry a giant claymore on her back everywhere she goes.
4) Her accent is somewhere between Italian and Scandinavian, with minor changes to accommodate a mouth full of fangs. 'th' sounds and anything similar tend to be very de-emphasized.
5) no but she'll fight him

Caster:

1) Similar to Aria, but to a lesser extend! A perfectly normal human, except pink hair, fox ears, and a fox tail.
2) She's Tamamo-no-Mae and it is literally part of her legend that she always smells good and clean. The legends are non-specific so just assume she smells vaguely sweet at all times.
3) Her, uh, fashion choices are a thing.

Also, she's literally a facet/incarnation of the goddamn fucking sun. So she will probably have the same effect on him as sunlight just by being around, because she's literally the sun itself.
4) She has a Japanese accent but likes using a lot of English words?
5) n, she is the sun, she is the dazzling one here.

I just realized that I have two part-fox characters, but it's the full human that actually smells like foxes.

2: Totally okay, and Khadgar would smell like books, old books, plus ink and parchment aside from the side smell of his magic.

3: His eyes glow when be used his magic? But he already saw that. And he'd have an easier time, I think, spotting the brand onhis kleft arm from the Kirin Tor.

5: Kind of. Khadgar gets interested in learning easily and Garrett, he can tell, can teach him a lot.

1) Not human! Well, half-human. He's a half-elf. With some extra enhancements, actually: while normal half-elves aren't physiologically that different from humans, Yuan's metabolism is stopped, which means Garrett may eventually notice that he sometimes kind of...forgets to breathe? Like, he breathes so that he has air to talk with, but he doesn't actually need oxygen to live or anything, so there are times when he just...stops. Weird.

2) He smells like ~*~magic~*~. no really, he's a spellcaster, and likely to be actively continuing to experiment with how various people's magic works. Yuan is a lightning mage, so will regularly smell like ozone, a scent which sharpens when he's alarmed even if he's not actively casting. Also probably like books/paper dust, and whatever planet they're currently nearby.

3) Half-elves are noted in canon to have mana - magic energy - literally in their blood. I don't know enough about Twilight to even guess how noticeable that is, but it seems like the kind of thing that might be relevant to a vampire.

1) He's human but he's a biotic, so he's got an implant at the base of his skull somewhat covered by his hairline (in addition to the Atroma augment, it should be noted). He has extra nodules in his nervous system that allows him to generate the extra electrical energy required. As a result, his metabolism runs quite a bit faster than a regular human and generates extraneous static charge, so his hair is always standing just a tiny bit on end.

2) Standard manly musk? Probably also industrial traces like metal/carbon fiber/gun oil, plus ozone from the static. Occasional antiseptic traces.

3) Well, he has a memetic butt, if Garrett's into that kind of thing.

4) No.

5) He'll try to pretend that he doesn't, but probably yes.

Felix

1) Standard human, really. Wizard, but I don't know if there's a physical way to determine that one.

2) He's bathes a lot, but there is likely to be the scent of books, paper, and even ink since he spends a lot of time with them/maintains the library. He's vain but he prefers unscented soap. Occasionally liquor (he likes wine and bourbon). If something else comes up I'll mention it.

3) He has a lot of scars all over his back that his clothing hides, but maybe he could hear them catching on the fabric or something idk. Depends on how observant he is, really.

4) Nope. His natural language sounds a bit like French but he's definitely American sounding. It's weird.

5) His demon boyfriend dazzles him more but maybe a little. He'd hit that.

Felix is safe, he's gonna seem pretty normal! It's certainly possible for him to hear clothes catching on scars if you don't mind him paying that close of attention. He may not bring it up, because it seems like a private affair. :)

1.) Mikleo's a seraph, AKA elemental spirit, AKA not the slightest bit human.
2.) It's been sort of established in DF so therefore headcanoned that he doesn't really have a consistent scent. If he's doing artes, he has sort of a winter-y watery smell/feel to him. If he's done cooking the scent might follow him. Otherwise, nah.
3.) I can't think of anything besides the non-human/elemental stuff.
4.) No recognizable accent.

1.) As human as they come.
2.) She probably smells like Japanese food most of the time. Loves it. Rice and mochi especially. Maybe strawberries.
3.) She's been practicing her anti-gravity powers more these days, so sometimes she's noticably lighter on her feet than she ought to be. That's about it, I think.
4.) Japanese accent on this one, too.
5.) She'd probably find the sparkles adorable, at least??

But on occasion she smells like hard work, like oil, like metal, like sweat. It's also not rare to catch a stink of gunpowder on her, as she often visits the shooting range on the Iskaulit. Also, depending on the day, he might recognize that she's a whiskey drinker.

3.) She's a great liar? If he's paying attention to tics and things that ordinary people can't pick up on, he might better realize when she's selling him bullcrap. I'm good with it.

4.) Yes. Yes yes yes. Very British. Unless for some reasons she's using one of her fake accents. But otherwise? VERY BRITISH.

Maedhros:

1.) He is an Elf, so their senses might be remarkably alike (Tolkien Elves have superb senses and since Mae is an Elf of the First Age, his are especially keen). And he always smells good, kthnx. Except when he smells like blood or sad. Does sad have a smell? Also Garrett is welcome to notice he is an Elf.

2.) He might scent blood - Maedhros has killed many in his lifetime and there is a thought amongst his kind that such massacres leave a taint behind. Otherwise he might smell - faintly - of metal and fire since he uses guns/practices with them a fair bit. Underneath all of that, he likely doesn't have much of a scent unless he chooses to have one (i.e. he bathes with herbs).

3.) One of his ears was badly injured (it is nearly cut in half) and he is missing his right hand (he has a prosthetic now).

4.) ...likely not? He does speak properly, though, and he has a very deep voice.

5.) Unfortunately not. Only the Silmarils dazzle him.

Rey:

1.) She's all human with senses that are only slightly heightened thanks to her connection with the Force.

2.) The poor girl will probably always smell of sand. Jakku. Other than that, she might smell of oil and engine parts. She does like to fiddle with them.

3.) He is welcome to notice that she is quick on her feet and that her senses are sharp for a human.

4.) As a matter of fact, she does! Well...Australian, technically, but British works.

1) YEP. Demon and vampire. OH BOY. Only physical tells are the bright red eyes that all demons have in his world, and well of course fangs. Magic-sensitives can pick up on the demon-ness too. He's living (vampires aren't undead in his 'verse), so there's still blood in his veins.

2) Smells like fire: ashes and smoke, mostly. He's a fire mage who specializes in explosions/detonations and other volatile flame-y things. Feel free to pick up on that~ Otherwise, generic soap kind of deal.

3) Nothing of special note other than the above! But feel free to strike up a convo about anything at all~

4) NOPE, slight US southern of the Charleston/low country variety, a bit on the ~posh~ side.

1.) Definitely human, he just has magic, which Garrett is welcome to smell from him!

2.) Anders does garden, so he'd probably smell a bit like earth and like elfroot which has a soft sweet smell. He also likely smells sharp like lyrium. Also he lives with a cat and a dog, so there'd be that.

3.)Anders' magic causes a kind of smell in the air like how the air smells before a storm. Different from his hobbies since this is just something about him.

4.) He does, as a matter of fact!

1.) Lark is not human, no, she's an elf and he'd probably be able to smell that she's different as well as see that her ears are long and pointed and her eyes are a little wider than a normal human's. Also her eyes glow in the dark, so they'll have a fun time if they ever meet in a dark room.

2.) Earth and nature and probably booze a lot of the time. She likes to drink when she can. More than all of that, however, would be the Taint in her blood. She'd likely smell of dark, dank and poison because she drank darkspawn blood and that's basically what it is.

3.) Due to some weird magic-ish canon crap, he'd probably get a smell of blood off of her that's stronger than others. She drank some blood-magic stuff that allows her to have some powers from her tainted blood.
